THE ENCOUNTERS originated in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn in 1963 and consisted of Charlie DiComo,Pette Milazzo,Eddie ? and Steve Matisi. The lead singer on Don't Stop is Eddie Almodovar who was singing with a group called The Deloriants from Ridgewood, Brooklyn. He also sang in 1959 with "The Tropicals" in Puerto Rico which I was also a member. Julio Angel Acevedo also sang with this group. He later formed "The Latin Lads" which recorded "Nunca" Never in spanish. I recorded with "The Endings", "The Chalets(1980)" and currently singing with "The Clusters" & Also with "The Arrogants"...Joe Miranda
