The Fantastics, from Brooklyn, did not backup Dave Rich on "I've Thought It Over" on RCA Records. Dave Rich told me that Chet Atkins provided the group. Dave never knew the name of the group (if they had one), but they were a four man black group that were attending a Gospel College in Tennessee.
Dave Rich had another doowop release on RCA 47-7334, from 1958 "Rosie Let's Get Cozy" b/w "Sunshine In My Heart." Don't know who the group is here as I didn't know of this record when I spoke to Dave about ten years back.
