In 1966 Bobby Fuller Four charted #9 nationally with their tune_I Fought The Law.on the Del-Fi subsidiary label Mustang Records but in their first recordings for this label the group were know as Bobby Fuller & The Fanatics and recorded some sides with a doo wop sound as the unreleased tune_Only For You.
