This group was formed in the 1920s and was active until the beginning of the Second World War with numerous singers.
In 1956 the group reappears formed by Edward Ansara, Laurence Bogue, Thomas Edwards and Feodore Tedick.
They sang old songs from Franz Schubert, Richard Rodgers or Oscar Hammerstein in a Pop style and in 1957 they sang at the White House for President Dwight D. Eisenhower.
They recorded two albums for Urania records and one 45 rpm for Masquerade records in 1958 with the songs "The Ghaly Ghaly Man / Give Me A Second Chance".
This recording is included in all doo wop music guides, but as you can listen is an error because they do not have a doowop sound.
Sorry for the quality of the photos, they are taken from old newspapers.
