Girl groups got scant attention of George Goldner with the success of The Chantels on their End label.Goldner recruited a white girl group from the New Utrecht High School in new York City. The Group consisted of seventeen years old ladies Rosemarie Reses, Dorothy Pasqualini, Virginia Petafio and Mary Salta.
