A group from Lodi, California, formed by Lionel Handel, Larry Westgate, Mike Harmon, and John Hops. They formed in 1957. Their name is a combination of words from their hometown of Lodi. They all belonged to the school band and sang locally.
In 1961, they recorded the ballads "Tell Me / We Dined By Candlelight" for the Sacramento label Camelia Records. This led them to appear on numerous shows, many of them on television. After graduating, the trio had another recording that same year, 1961, for the Galaxie Records label, "The Stars Will Remember / Tell Me." This release featured a cover featuring only three members.
