THE FOUR EKKOS_My Love I Give

Vocal group from Rochester NY, made up of Carl Scarlata, Pat Cassotta, Leo Grock and Joe Mazzeo. The Four Ekkos first hit a recording studio when they backed Rochester Rockabilly vocalist Jerry Engler on his 1957 space-age track "Sputnik (Satellite Girl)," receiving a label credit along the way: ' Jerry Engler & The Four Ekkos' (Below picture).

This was cut at Rochester's Fine Recordings and picked up and released by Brunswick Records. On the same record label (Fine), a month later, the group supported young Bernie Campbell (14 years old) on "Baby, You Belong To Me" b/w "Will I Ever Find My Baby?".

In 1958, the group was under contract to Rip Records and came to Hollywood for a month-long stay. Under the personal direction of 23-year-old Rip frontman Dick Pucio, the group will make several appearances to promote their recording of this same year of 1958,  "Toodaloo Kangaroo / My Love I Give ".

In 1959, the Four Ekkos recorded "Hand In Hand / Think Twice" issued on Buffalo's Label Records.
