Presenting to...The WHITE Crests Group

JOHNNY MAESTRO & THE CRESTS. Top to Bottom; Eddie Wright, Chuck Foote, Johnny Maestro and Leonard Alexander. I think they recorded some sides for Cameo/Parkway Records.

Another rare photo of singer Johnny Maestro accompanied by other three white singers.

I do not know who they were and if they called themselves "The Crests" this group appears on the CD "Cameo-Parkway groups" and as you can see they all carry instruments, maybe so they were the band that accompanied Johnny instrumentally in some of your recordings.

I only see one original member of
The Crest in this photo and that is Johnny Maestro.

In the early 1960s, Johnny Maestro often sang with different backup singers, sometimes billed as The Crests, The Coeds or unbilled. It was Johnny's remarkable voice on lead vocals that gave everything he recorded such a distinctive sound. His voice is just as great today.
