Jo Ann & The Heartaches began back at Holy Rosary grammar school in Downtown Jersey City, New Jersey sometime around 1961.The original Heartaches consisted of; Joe Calamito,Tommy D'Allesandro,Charlie Romano,Bobby Taglarini and Lead singer Joanne Lucas.
