Howard "Howie" Frank Butler of Grand Forks, MN was the lead singer, guitarist, pianist and songwriter of a band know as Howie Butler & The Reflections who recorded for Gaity records in 1960 the sides "Treasure of Love / Have A Good Time".
This recording is present in the Complete Book of Doo Wop, but as you can hear they don't have a doowop sound and is another error of this doo wop music guide.
