THE PORTRAITS...RCA records

 Sorry for the quality of the photo, this is taken from an old newspaper.

Vocal mixed trio from New York consisting of Joni Carol (19 years old), Steve Harris (22 years old) and Noel Gordon (22 years old). In 1961 they signed a contract for Ray Ellis, A&R director for RCA Victor Records after he heard them sing, this same year they recorded for RCA the songs "Yo-Yo Girl / My Big Brother's Friend"

Side A was co-written by Steve and Noel, they wrote another song "Love Message" finally recorded by The Kane Triplets. After the separation from the group, Steve worked as a policeman, specializing as a court and warrant officer, in New York City.

In 1961 the disc of The Portraits was made in Italy with a cover.
