The guy on the far left, Ray LaMacchia, is my father!
I'm John, one of three of his sons. I currently live in Knoxville, TN.

Second from the left is my father, Tommy Thompson. I'm not sure if they ever recorded.

Al Evans was my grandfather! My name is Robert. I'm his youngest daughter's Son. I too am having trouble finding the history on the band. My grandmother tells me story's about the gigs they would play and they were HUGE in the mid west. From Columbus, OH to Oshkosh, WI. I got my musical gift from my grandfather and I honestly think that's the best gift you can get from anyone. My mother told me that they did cut a record when they were at their highest peak but I cannot find it. My grandmother, Jan Evans, has some recordings of my grandfather singing with the band and of the band performing. I was also told that they were supposed to get inducted into the Columbus music hall of fame. If anyone knows anything please email me or something. I am now determined to find more on The Four Interludes(that was their actual name)

OH! and one more thing. They apparently sounded just like The Four Freshmen. My Grandma said that was Al's favorite group and that's who he based the band off of. My grandma said that they sounded just like them.

Tawni, my father, Ray LaMacchia, mentioned your Dad's name on several occasions as I was growing up.

I have two brothers who also remembers hearing about the Interludes. My older brother who lives in California, would remember the most about the group. I have an Aunt Arlene who lives outside of Columbus, Ohio. She was once married to Ian Polster who became a member of the Interludes and played trombone. He became an accomplished professor of music at Wittenburg College (sp). He was a composer, arranger, and music educator. He currently lives outside of Columbus Ohio, too. Rob and Tawni....do you have other photos of the group?

My father is Ian Polster. Here is a recording made by my uncle, Ray LaMacchia, using a reel-to-reel tape recorder he placed on the stage. Hi John :) I hope you enjoy it.
