In early 1958 in Leetsdale, Pa the brother of Jim Drake of the white group The Tempos who have one-hit wonder with "See You In September." decided to form a vocal group for which he brought together several students from the Quaker Valley School, John Sradomski, Daryl Adams and Duke McGaughy and himself, Joe Drake, Ross Buck also temporarily participated in the group.
In 1958 they recorded two songs "The One I Love" / "I Should Live So Long" for Tabby records, this recording was popular locally and the group made many appearances and were regulars at Club Newman.
Above from the newspaper "The Daily Collegian from November 14, 1958".
Due to obligations with their studies, the group had personnel changes and at the end of 1958 it was a quintet with Dick Kruppa as lead voice, although no recording of this formation is known.
