THE GOLDENAIRES_My Only Girl
In 1958 Joe Ruffino founded in New Orleans the labels Ric and Ron records. In this time the town is dedicated to the Jazz sound but with the explosion of the Rock & Roll vocal group sound Joe change the rol and signed a quartet know as The Four Goldenaires formed by Roy Picou (Lead/Second Tenor), Augie Wenzel (First Tenor), Henry Gabb (Baritone) and Gene Ravain (Bass).
They singing in a Jazz style but Joe send the boys to record four doo wop songs...
-All About You / My Only Girl. Ron records-1959.
-Love letters / Ding Bats. Ron records-1960.
Without promotion these records deat soon and the group back to the Jazz clubs as a trio
