THE "mysterious" SPARK PLUGS of SUTTON RECORDS

Rare and mysterious Lp from Sutton Records (1962?).

This album under the name of THE SPARK PLUGS contains some fantastic rock and doo wop tunes but under fake names.

For example "Tear of Love" is actually "Sugar Doll" by The Pyramids or "Long Lonely Hours" by the Echomen on spider records here is listed as "My Sheila".

Surely someone compiled several songs, changed the title, invented a name for a group and published them as if it were a new group.

If anyone has more information about this album to comment.
