RICHIE MARSH & THE HOODWINKS

Richard Elvern Marsh was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1937. In 1961 he moved to California where he got a temporary job helping to dig a pool. The owner of the pool is Darla Hood, a child actress and currently the wife of Jose Granson, owner of a record label called Acama.

Richard convinced Darla to record on this label alongside him as Richie Marsh and the Hoodwinks, "Baby Baby Baby" / "Half Angel", both written by Darla.

-Half Angel " is very reminiscent of the classic of The Penguins" Earth Angel "and is present in the Jeff Kreiter's guide.

In 1963 Richard Marsh changed his professional name to "Sky Saxon" and soon forming The Seeds, being very popular until the early 1970s.
