Bobby Darin is present in the doo wop guides under the group name of THE DING DONGS and THE RINKY-DINKS.

In April of 1958 Bobby recorded four sides_Early Morning/Now We're One/Mighty Mighty/You're Mine. for Brunswick Records with the studio group The Helen Way Singers as backup group but as he was under contract with Atlantic Records the label released_Early Morning/Now We're One. under the group name of THE DING DONGS.

When Atlantic know the existence of these recordings ask the masters to Brunswick and released the four sides on their subsidiary label Atco Records under the group name of THE RINKY-DINKS.


in the summer of 1958_Early In The Morning. by the Rinky-Dinks charted # 24 nationally.
