In the mid 50's in the Bronx Vinnie Zeccola,Vance"Bo Bo"Hallup,Freddie Rose and Richie Howell were know as Freddie & The Steadies,they recorded one demo_Leonora/My Darling. finally released in 1958 on the Vinnie's own label Way-Out Records under the group name of The Corvets.
Without success the group broke up but reformed soon with Vinnie as Tenor,Vance as Bass and the new members Joe Lento as Lead,George De Alfonso as Second Tenor and Jules Hahn as Baritone.
The new group contacted con disc Jockey Hal Jackson and this give to the group big life perfomances.In 1960 the group have a new demo_So Long/Alligator In The Park. they auditioned for Laurie's chief executives Elliot Greenberg and Gene Schartz.they liked it and wanted to record it,finally this demo was released in the Laurie's subsidiary label Laurel records in 1960.

The A side_So Long. have a great acceptaccion in the local radio shows and later The Bob Kinght Four released this song(see in this blog).
1961 and the group have a new recording out_Only Last Night(In The Garden)/Shark In The Park. on the 20th Century-Fox label but with nule promotion the record dead soon.

In 1961 the group recorded for Roulette Records the sides_Let's Find Out Tonight. and _Only Last Night(On The Garden).but the label only credited the recording as by Joey Dell .finally the group disbanded in 1962.
Group from Brooklyn, NY. formed in 1958 and first know as The Sinceres (see above picture) formed by Tony Armato, Albie Galione, Vinny Acierno, Nicky Lombardi and John Pangi.
In 1959 the group consisted of Jimmy Gallagher(Lead),Tony Armato(First Tenor),Albee Gallon (Second Tenor) and Vinnie Aceierno(Baritone).

This group from Belle Harbor,NY. started in 1959 by Kenny " Vance" Rosenberg, Sandy Yaguda ,Sydell Sherman,Gail Sherman,Linda Kahn and Richie Graff they auditioned for Stan Feldman of Ivy Records and this send the group to home why their sound was terrible.
Linda, Gail and Richie left the group and (L to R in the picture) Sandy, Sydell and Kenny auditioned again with Ivy Record.finally this label recorded the group but sold the masters to Jaro Records this company released in 1959 the Harbor-Lites sides_Is That Too Much To Ask/What Would I Do Without You.

The group backed Anastasia (aka Dean Parrish) on his first single for Laurie Records in 1960 "Time Bomb / That's My Kind Of Love".

The group broke up soon Kenny and Sandy with Jay Trainor and Howie Kane form Jay & The Americans and on their second recording released the fantastic uptempo side_Dawning.
The rest is history.
Tony Squitieri was a member of this New Jersey group of Capital Records????. Note;I don't find some reference of some Cameo group that recorded for Capital or Capitol Records if anyone know please write me.
In 1963 Phil Agtuca(2nd Tenor),Bobby Bloom(Lead) and Richard LeCausi(Bass) of The Imaginations group(see in this blog) with new members John Governale(1st Tenor) and Pete Lanzetta(Baritone) recorded as The Expressions for Parkway Records the sides_To Cry/On The Corner.produced by Pete Antell and John Linde.
Also they back up to Tommy Boyce on a RCA recording_Don't Be Afraid.
