The Ultimates;Gary Allen,Dave Strum,Carlos Miranda,Neil Bernstein and Donald Scheer came from the East New York section of Brooklyn.They recorded_I Can Tell You Love Me Too/Lonely Nights. for Envoy Records in 1961.They became the 2nd Excellents group who recorded_I Hear Phapshody/Why Did You Laugh. for Blast Records in 1962.See in the 45/acetate section of this blog a rare early Ultimate's acetate.
