I receive this information from a member of the group...Spike from Snake & the Armpits here (Ken Kirby) The line up is: left to right: Rocky (John Finchum) ~ Snake (JR Million) ~ Butchie (Mike Giese) ~ Spike (Ken Kirby) ~ Spyder (Jere Lowe) What a Time we had! Loved doing that show, the bands name was Peace & Love - Snake & the Armpits was our Alter Ego!! This picture was taken in early 1970's. Yes we played Lacrosse, WI several times and the Red Frog in Indianapolis - good times! Butchie is in the Chicago area. Jr lives in Florida and so does Finch. I'm deeply saddened to say my dear friend and bandmate Jere passed away. I'm still Rockin' - playing with Phil "Fang" Volk from Paul Revere and the Raiders ( Fang and the Gang) living in Las Vegas. Big thanks to whitedoowopcollector for finding and posting this. Do you have any others? This brings back great memories.....Spike
Glad to see that this group has made it on the web and YouTube. Loved seeing both Peace & Love as well as Snake & the Armpits at Bachelors 3 in Madison, WI!! I remember that the place was SRO when you came out as Snake & the Armpits.
Hi I am Donna Reed of Ft. Lauderdale. I use to see you guys at the Circus in Indianapolis. I also went to Montecello once. I would love to reconnect to J.R. Millon. I am on Facebook. I had a mad crush on him. I was a skinny blonde then.
I remember seeing Snake & The Armpits at the Circus night club. Indianapolis, Indiana in 1973 for the first time. They were great. I liked Peace & Love also. I went back every time they was there after that. Seeing this picture brings back great memories. We forget how good they really were.
OMG! Feb. 23, 1973. We had just been married. And our reception was at the Office Lounge in St. Pete, FL. They were great & a part of our history. Will never forget!!!

Do you know if they ever played in Aspen Colorado. I remember going out skiing in the 70's and saw them at a barn town there.
Can anyone confirm this?
I think I saw them at Indiana Beach in Monticello Indiana way back in the day. Not sure cuz I was stoned a lot back then. ;)
