Jerry Martin whose real name was Layton Redell Zbornik, Jr from Albia, Iowa is not present in the doo wop music guides, but he has two recordings one in 1959 for the Fredlo record label with the songs "Janet / Lovely One", this last song has a good oriented doo wop sound so much so that in many places they catalog it as a white doo wop song.
Another song with an oriented doo wop sound from Jerry is from 1960 on the R records "Sweetheart".
