THE DEL-CORDS aka THE DEL-CHORDS

Interracial group/band from York.Pennsylvania consisted of the singing group The Del-Cords and the instrumental band The Dogs their lineup included multy members as Dave Bupp, Bill "Cheeks" Schlosser, Jeff Hildebrand, Jere Hetrick, Edward "Buck" Generette, Otto "Spike" Sexton, Edward "Ike" Bowers, Allen "Jap" Shue, Don Sponsler, Dale Saxon, Ernie Banks, Ron Searle,Larry Smith,Eddie Woltman or Adrian "Buddy" King.

Although they have a R&B/Soul sound are present in all the doo wop guides with their Del-Cord's single...

Dave Bupp and Buddy King went on to The Magnificent Men, a "blue-eyed soul" group that released a couple of hits and LPs on Capitol.

The Dogs' Soul Step was absolutely massive on the UK Northern Soul scene.
