The Glens aka The Starlights with Bill Perry

White group from Brooklyn formed in 1957 under the name of The Glens by Ralph Pascarella, Henry Scarpelli and Anthony Cambria, they recorded for the New York label, Ro-Nan records the songs "I Feel So Blue" / "Image Of Love" . without any success the group was practicing and participating in parties and local concerts until in 1959 they had the opportunity to record again on Premium records with William J.Panzo "Bill Perry" as lead vocals the songs "Searching For Love" / "Count Off Blues" under the name The Starlights with Bill Perry.

This same year of 1959 they signed for Jaro International where they recorded as Billy & The Glens "I Believe In You" / "Oh Boy". These recordings attracted the attention of Trade Martin and his partner Johnny Powers who had just founded their record label, Rome records, a label nowadays known for the recordings of The Earls.

The Glens recorded in 1961 for this record label "I'm Not The Guy", "Oh Love", "I Fell Great", "More" and "The Seven Teens", but none of them was realized until they were included in a LP in the late 80's.
