BOBBY RYDELL aka BOBBY & THE MASTERS

Singer Robert Ridarelli aka Bobby Rydell from Philadelhia know by songs as_We Got Love/Wild One/Swingin' School/Forget Him...is present in all the doo wop guides with the doo wop side_Please Don't Be Mad. recorded in 1959 for Cameo Records.

In this side he was backed by the Mike Pedicin Quartet(see below).

In 1962 Bobby recorded on the Cameo's label the Dion Sound-a-like side _Butterfly Baby. in this he was backed by Rick & The Masters(see in this blog).

Finally in 1963 and again with Rick & The Masters as back up group he recorded two sides for a Cameo's album,the standart_That's My Desire. and the Earl's side_Remember Then.

Additional Note...

Although all the Cameo's sides were listed as by Bobby Rydell actually many CD's( and of course Youtube) have listed these tunes as by BOBBY & THE MASTERS with a FALSE picture of the group(see below).

The next record after "Don't Be Mad" is a group record Too.
"All I Want is you" has a group backing...most of the youtube videos don't have it from the 45s (they are missing the group) The actual 45 does have the group. I put it on youtube with the group backing from my 45 "rockinstars"
