The Talkabouts were a vocal/band from Ottawa in Canada. consisted of brothers Ron and Billy Carle with Brian Pros, Pete McCarthy and Pat Cassidy.
In 1959 recorded on the canadian label Regency Records the sides_ Sweet Lovin' Baby/I Don't Seem To Care Anymore. Released in the U.S. in 1963 by Poplar Records.

They continue singing and recorded many live (at the Picadilly Lounge) and studio songs and have in Canada via Decca Records a complete CD with live and the studio unreleased tracks as_Elaine/Whispering Bells/You Promised Me...

Oh my.....I have just stumbled on this. I am Dianna Carle, Ron's wife and Billy's sister-in-law. Ron passed away on July 27/14....the first of the group to move on! Some great memories on this page ! Wonderful to see !!
