A lot of backstory is found with Jerry being the Jerry Field on PARKWAY ("The Trial"), but that is not so. The only other name that Jerry used aside from his real name was "Jerry Simms". In 1959, he had an RCA VICTOR release of "Dancing Partner" (the same song that had been earlier recorded by the Platters) and "Dancing With A Memory". On that release, the promo copy featured his picture on the label. The stock copy on that spelled his last name as "Sims". In 1961, he used the same "Simms" spelling for his last name for a release on the DUAL label, a Wright Brothers based novelty called "Good Luck Orville!" backed with a song he'd written called "Treasure Supreme". As a songwriter, another name he used (aside from Jerry Samuels or Napoleon) was Scott David, his son's name.
