My mother was married to Teddy Rego from Fall River. He was a trumpet player and drummer and a member of The Blazers, the backup group for Bobby Carle post 1960. Wondering why there is no mention of this iteration of Bobby Carle's ensemble here.

Hello I too am from Fall River. The gentleman who sings and was the headliner is my grandfather, Carl or Bobby Carle. He started with the Blendaires but later in his career the powers that be insisted on added a more skilled, professional group of band and backgrpund singers and that is when they changed it from Blendaires to Blazers. Still theyre biggest hit was with the original quartet seen in picture, hittinv number 38 in 1956 on the pop charts with Anytime, Anyplace, Anywhere. Ty for your interest. I think of him often although I was only 10 when he passed I have many fond memories and miss him dearly.
