THE BOPTONES.


The Boptones from Bensonhurst, Brooklyn( around the 75th street 19th ave area) consisted of Nick Lampariello (Lead), Kenny Pollack (1st Tenor), John Ench (2ยบ Tenor) and Dave Antebi, the guy with glasses (Bass) all went to Lafayette High School. early knows as Nicky-Bop & The Boptones. Later Bob Kutner, replaced Kenny Pollack.

After of appear on the Mack show singing with Alan Freeds rock and roll show at the Brooklyn Paramount theatre with artists as Chuck Berry, Frankie Lymon, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, Danny and the Juniors, Buddy Holly...

Alan present the group toHerald /  Ember Records were recorded...

-I Had A Love (original by the group) / (be my) Pussy Cat. Ember Records-1958

-Running After You / Betty Jean. unreleased 1958. Ember sides (released in 1993)...

Without more records Nick Continue as a solo artist asNick Lampe for Atlantic and Bob Kutner joined the Vocal-Airs on Herald Records.
