Sisters Bonnie Dee and Annie Laurie Sloan from Seattle, Washington were the daughters of longtime Seattle songsmith, Sterling "Bud" Sloan, owner of Mecca Records in February of 1960 Dad recorded in his label to the girls as The Du-Ettes a 45 rpm with one song "Neither You Nor I" and "Blue Point Drive" by Jimmy Phelps in the other side.
The result of this work is another recording for Dad in this ocassion with a vocal group sound as it was added a local vocal group / band know as The Vanguards, They recorded "Donny" with the instrumental side by The Vanguards "Wild".
