Has died at 74 due to Covid-19 Ed Engel from Crystal Ball records, one of the largest white doo wop diffusers with hundreds of vinyls and Compact discs dedicated to white groups.
Thank you very much for making us all enjoy with your work, you will always be a reference for us, rest in peace.
One of his first works was there in 1976 with this 45 rpm (it is rumored that he sang in the choirs).

Rest in peace Ed Engel.
I was shocked to hear of Ed's passing. I will be playing an interview I did with him back in 2009 on my radio show. You can hear it on Monday 1-18-2021 at 7pm and then a replay on Friday 1-22-2021 all shows broadcast from the USA east coast time zone. Goodby Ed rest in peace. Rockin' Richard (Phillips)

That is very sad news. Ed was really an amazing musicologist who rescued and saved countless hours of the greatest music genre ever; music that otherwise would have been lost to obscurity and time. I loved talking with him on the phone way back when.
