Roger A. Pratte, was born in Manchester, NH. In his younger years he served in the US Air Force, After the military, Roger enjoyed a long and storied career in music. In 1959 he was the lead singer of the New England rock and roll / rockabilly band, Sonny Lane & the Downbeats (see below photo) toured the east coast with his band and sold over 100K copies of the song "Growing Love".
