Canadian group from Toronto formed in 1952.consisted of John Perkins(Lead), his brother Ray Perkins(Bass),Pat Barrett(Tenor) and Rudi Maugeri(Baritone).
Present in the Kreiter's Vocal Group Record Guide with recordings on ABC,Mercury,RCA,Warwick and Whale Records.
From the mentioned labels and according to the book,their most valuable recordings were...

THE MON-VALES_Carol Ann
Group from Moneasen, Pensylvania formed in late 1957 by Frank “Pancho” Olivio, Joseph “Khaki Joe” Olivio, John Brown, Anthony “Tony” Fafalios and Dave Reday. They practice with origanl tunes as_Last Summer Kiss/Carol-Ann/Jump Crybaby/White Bucks.
In the mid 1958 the group moved a recording studio in Farihope, Pennsylvania to record their original tunes, as group name for the demo they chose THE MON-VALES by the Mon Valley region. The group send the demos to Pittsburgh / New York companies but without luck, finally all the group moved to New York City Pen Joy label who in October 1958 released the sides_Carol-Ann / (Cool Kat and his) White Bucks.

The group promoting their recording in Pittsburgh and Boston at radio stations and have some live perfomances. They returned to home where have many number of shows, in this time the Mon-vales disc was very popular in de Dj stations in the Pittsburgh area but when “Pancho” leave the group this disbanded soon. In 1979 the recording were re-released on the Keystone Classic label as Johnny Blue & The Mon-Vales.

Actually The Opposites were The Rip Chords (see in this blog). I believe this is a mistake of the mentioned book why this recording is listed with the same record number (42641) as by The Opposites and The Rip Chords.
The Famous Rip Chord's started as a vocal duo named The Opposites, maybe they recorded some demo recording with the mentioned two songs and after were released as The Rip Chords. really I don't know. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

The Selections were a Brooklyn-based group with Al Reno (real name Al DiPaola) who later recorded a solo single on Kapp Records backed by The Dials(see in this blog).The Selections 45's was reissued by Specialty Records owner Art Rupe's former wife, Lee, on her Mona Lee label in late 1958. their side_Guardian Angel. was revived in 1961 by The Imaginations(see in this blog).

THE SENIORS_It's Been A Long Time
The Seniors were an interradcial trio formed by Air Force servicemen in Europe, Doc Chambers, Harry Dencault and Bill Seighman (Doc and Harry are from Boston and Bill from Uniontown,PA). In 1957-58 they singing in army talent shows in Germany, England and Danemark
In 1958 back to home and signed in Hollywood,CA with the Tampa label owened by Robert Sherman and Irving Shorten.where recorded four sides_Who's Gona Know / It's Been A Long Time / All I Have To Do Is Dream / Shougun Packin Baby.
Finally in 1959 the label released the two first sides,later reissued in the Interlude label.
